COVID-19 SHIPPING UPDATE

During the ongoing global pandemic, Pinoy Ako Store's service goal is to ship out orders within 2 business days from receipt. Upon shipping, a tracking number will be sent to you via email. The carriers we use including the United States Postal Service (USPS), Federal Express (FedEx), and United Parcel Service (UPS) have all been experiencing delays throughout their shipping network due to COVID-19. Estimated delivery times have ranged from 2 business days, up to 7 business days. Please utilize the provided tracking number for up-to-date delivery information. We appreciate your patience. DOMESTIC SHIPPING

Free Shipping 
We offer free domestic shipping on orders totaling $69 to $99.99 EXCEPT when shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, PO, or APO addresses. We use USPS Ground Advantage and it takes 3-5 days for regular dry items to accommodate our free shipping.

Frozen Items are not included in Free Shipping. If the order comes with frozen items, we will ship it on Monday or Tuesday. We ship frozen items in an insulated shipping box. In addition, necessary add-ons to shipping like coolers for frozen items or required signatures upon delivery are added costs associated with the free shipping policy.

Real-Time Shipping Rates 
Orders that do not qualify for free shipping have shipping costs calculated based on the order price and distance from our location. You may choose FedEx or USPS as your shipping carrier. FedEx Ground services can take 1-7 business days to arrive - not including processing time from our warehouse.

Note: If you order dry goods/items with frozen goods/items, please be reminded that you will have to pay additional shipping fee for frozen items as frozen items have to be shipped with special insulated box with dry ice to keep them as cold as possible during transit.  

Require Signature Service
If you are worried about lost packages during delivery we recommend adding a signature upon delivery option for an extra layer of protection. This type of service entails that a package you ordered will first need to be directly signed for by someone at the delivery address only. If no one is available to sign, the carrier will attempt redelivery of the package on another date.  Note that we are not responsible for any lost packages during the delivery handling process. You must contact the carrier directly to request support and a refund. If no solution has been settled, please feel free to contact us.

Shipping to PO Boxes
Shipping to PO Boxes is available but you must select USPS as the shipping method at checkout. Additional charges may apply.

Shipping to Military APO/FPO Addresses
Orders shipped to APO/FPO addresses can only be shipped via USPS Priority. The package cannot be tracked after it enters the Military Mail System. Therefore, we are unable to determine the order delivery time. All orders shipped to APO/FPO addresses may take up to 60 days. Additional shipping charges will be applied to your credit card automatically if a shipping carrier other than USPS is selected at checkout.


INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
International shipping and handling are processed through USPS. Costs are calculated in real-time at checkout based on the order weight and distance from our location.

TAXES
Items sold through our Site may be subject to taxes and other governmental charges. If an item is subject to taxes, prior to submitting your purchase request, an estimated tax will be calculated and displayed at checkout.


SHIPPING METHODS
We use Federal Express (“FedEx”) and the United States Parcel Service (“USPS”). Both FedEx and USPS provide estimated delivery times. The estimated delivery times are not guaranteed. Neither we nor FedEx or USPS are able to provide 100% guarantees on arrival. 

When your order is shipped, an order update will be emailed to you with a tracking number. You may track your order via the FedEx or USPS websites.


PRODUCTS DAMAGED OR SHIPPED IN ERROR
Although deliveries are packaged very carefully, damages can sometimes occur in transit and mistakes are sometimes made. Please see our Return Policy.


WRONG SHIPPING INFORMATION
Pinoy Ako Store delivers to the shipping address that you specify when you place your order. We are not responsible for incorrect information provided to us. A minimum $15 Change of Address fee will be charged if you change your shipping destination after your package is in transit. If your package has already been delivered, there will be additional charges for package pick-up and re-delivery. Additional charges may apply if the package is redirected, an address is incomplete (with the exception of zip code which we can determine) or the wrong shipping sector was entered at the time of order. We are not responsible for shipping charges for packages returned due to missing or wrong information. 


CHANGING SHIPPING ADDRESS
If you wish to change your shipping address after you have submitted your order, please email us immediately at pinoyakostorenyc@gmail.com. If the order has not been processed, we will update the delivery address. Unfortunately, should the order be shipped already, you will not be able to change it. It is our goal to provide prompt delivery service, which includes fulfilling yours quickly.

UNDELIVERABLE PACKAGES OR MISSING ITEMS
Pinoy Ako Store shall work with our partner shipping carriers to promptly deliver packages to you. In the event packages are delayed, damaged, re-routed, and/or incorrectly delivered, we shall work with the shipping carriers to rectify. This process may significantly delay the delivery of your package.

We make every effort to help ensure there are no incorrect or missing items in your order. Should this occur, within 3 days of the receipt of shipment, please notify us at pinoyakostorenyc@gmail.com. Any adjustments thereafter shall be at the sole discretion of Pinoy Ako Store.
